Legal-Eagles undertakes Elder Fraud case in the matter of Florence Ackridge of Philadelphia!

Florence is 83 yrs young. She is retired from Philadelphia Department of Human Services. And when her son smelled gas leaks the philadelphia Gas Works came out and shut off the gas.

Florence was told to hire a HVAC contractor to replace the boiler, home heater, and pipes. Florence found a contractor who convinced her the cost would be $18,000 but she would be eligible for a $5000 discount through and Elderly program.

Legal Eagles participated in a zoom hearing with Oval heating President Jimmy Stoykov and Florence. Jimmy said Florence was taken advantage for almost $10,000. That her boiler was working and is not have a gas line.

Legal-Eagles is filing objections to the Pennsylvania Utility Commision on behalf of Florence and also reaching out to the contractor with a Demand Letter for a refund.
